FROM LIBERIA TOWN OR LIBERIA AIRPORT

From Liberia town, the Liberia International Airport (Code LIR) is 13 km West. A flight to Liberia Airport on your trip to Costa Rica, will leave you a short ride away from some of Costa Rica´s most beautiful places like beaches, National Parks and cultural spots.

 

 

ROUTE #1: GUARDIA – PLAYA HERMOSA  (RECOMMENDED!)

• Once you passed the airport, keep going 5 miles straight. You will cross the Tempisque River Bridge and soon you will find an intersection in Guardia town, with a shopping center called Do It Center (in a corner). Turn right there
• Take the way to Papagayo and half a mile later turn to your left and drive 5 miles
• The third intersection is the one connecting to Playa Panamá, turn left and drive 3.5 miles more to get to Playa Hermosa town
• Once you are there, look for the second public entrance to the beach at your right. We have a sign here in an empty corner lot next to a hardware store (Ferretería Playa Hermosa) and turn right as the arrow says
• Keep going straight half a mile and you will find us at the end of the road
