Rincón de la Vieja Hiking Trip |
For the more adventurist, pass the day exploring by foot, Rincon de La Vieja Volcano that rises majestically 6,284 feet out of the 34,800 acre park, home to more than 250 species of birds (including: Keel-billed Toucans and Blue-crowned Mot-mots) ocelots, sloths, jaguars, brocket deer, tapirs, coatis and of course monkeys. This remote scenic volcano is a hiker’s paradise. There are countless winding trails through a combination of a tropical and dry forest with boiling mud-pots, craters, hot sulfur springs and geysers passing lakes, streams, waterfalls and Costa Rica’s famous wildlife and flora and fauna. Points of interest include three main craters, of the volcano’s nine, Jilgueros lagoon, Las Pailas, El Volcancito and Casona Santa Maria.

Turtle Observation Tour |
This is truly more than a tour. It is an unforgettable, educational experience like no other. Witness the miracle that has played itself out continually at Playa Ostenal and Playa Grande since time can tell. By sunset or under the moon and stars, watch the nesting process of the Olive Ridgely Turtles and the Leather Back Turtles (Baulas)respectively. Over 400 turtles venture to shore nightly to lay their eggs. At Playa Ostional , over 400 turtles venture to shore nightly to lay their eggs. Traditionally each turtle lays between 100-120 ping pong size eggs. A certified, local, guide will lead you to the nesting turtles and explain the nesting process and the do’s and don’ts.

Miravalles Volcano Tour |
Truly, a full day one of a kind adventure! Known for its sulfur springs, fumaroles and bubbling mud pots sits 6,653 feet high and is the highest peak of the Guanacaste Mountains. In the morning swing from tree-top plat form to tree-top plat form on a series of zip-lines for a bird's eye view of Costa Rica's wildlife and enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. Then, visit the Volcanic Activity Center and continue by horseback or tractor to a Private Rainforest Reserve, cross the hanging bridge and hike to 4 different waterfalls. Later, walk inside a live volcanic crater and see the steam naturally release from the earth and the bubbling mud. Experience an authentic volcanic mud bath, relax in the hot springs and soak up some geothermal energy yourself.

Sailing and Snorkeling Tour |
After an exciting sail to a secluded bay in a catamaran with open bar, snorkel around the reefs to discover Costa Rica's marine life or stroll down the white sand beach. Palo Verde Tour |
